OpiniQ Ltd is looking a Chief Operation Officer (COO). This is a key senior role for a firm, based in Limassol, Cyprus.
OpiniQ  provides consulting services in a number of business areas and is expanding rapidly.
A suitable match for this role is someone with “hands on” managerial and legal experience, who will lead Opiniq's team to success  by offering guidance, assigning roles, outlining expectations, and  establishing timelines for current and new projects.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Lead and empower cross-functional teams across legal, finance, and other key departments, ensuring clear alignment with business objectives and fostering collaboration.
  • Own and drive the design and execution of a comprehensive business strategy, ensuring it is seamlessly integrated with the company’s overarching goals while adhering to all regulatory frameworks.
  • Strategically partner with banking and financial teams to facilitate the establishment and optimization of banking services and financial solutions.
  • Serve as the key liaison with external legal counsel, ensuring efficient coordination and management of all legal matters.
  • Champion operational excellence and continuous improvement, implementing innovative processes to enhance efficiency and scalability across the organization.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, ensuring proactive management of operational, legal, and financial risks to safeguard the company's growth and reputation.
  • Guarantee full compliance with international and local regulatory standards, actively managing all compliance-related aspects of operations.
  • Architect and execute strategies for market expansion, focusing on operational scalability and penetration into new regions or sectors to drive sustainable growth.
  • Lead and synchronize multi-disciplinary project teams, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery of key initiatives that align with corporate goals.
  • Partner with HR to cultivate a dynamic and positive company culture, ensuring employee engagement, talent development, and alignment with the organization’s core values and vision.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Laws or Finance degree or higher
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in regulatory legal consulting and corporate law in COO or other management roles
  • Experience in iGaming will be plus
  • Fluent English ( B2+)
