Head of Legal Department

OpiniQ Ltd is looking a Head of Legal Department. This is a key senior role for a firm, based in Limassol, Cyprus. OpiniQ  provides consulting services in a number of business areas and is expanding rapidly.
A suitable match for this role is someone with “hands on” managerial and legal experience, who will lead Opiniq's legal team to success  by offering guidance, assigning roles, outlining expectations, and  establishing timelines for current and new projects.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Manage members of the legal team and contribute to developing legal department practices and culture.
• Own, design and implement a comprehensive legal  strategy aligned with the company’s overall objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with the teams involved in opening bank accounts.
• Coordinate efforts to obtain new licences or renew existing licences.
• Coordinate interaction with external counsel.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Laws degree or higher
• Minimum 5 or more years of experience in the areas of regulatory legal counsel and corporate law.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in iGaming
• Fluent English ( B2+)
